·         Congratulations to the junior girls volleyball team who won a hard fought game yesterday against Jean Vanier.


·         In local news; Board Game Club has been cancelled.  We will be back on Friday.


·         Yesterday our senior boys basketball team improved to 2-0 in their regular season with a 58-48 win over Saint Trinity. 


·         Come to the atrium today at lunch to contribute to the Relay for Life Christmas tree by writing on an ornament the reason why you Relay.


·         The YMCA is offering 20 Oakville Youth the opportunity to participate in an exchange with youth from Halifax.  The cost of the programme is $120.00.  More information is available on Facebook, at YMCA of Oakville or in Guidance.


·         There will be Duke of Ed meetings on Wednesday Dec 7th in periods 3, 4 and after school in room 232.  Choose the one that works for you.


·         The senior girls volleyball team faced off against the Jean Vanier Knights last night.  The girls won 3 straight sets decisively.


·         DECA regional results are here.  All students who competed in Hamilton are encouraged to attend today’s meeting to see how the judges marked them.


·         Congratulations to the junior boys basketball team on their decisive 57-42 victory against Sainte Trinity.


·         Tomorrow is the last day to purchase music hoodies and jackets.  Sizing samples are in the music room and they can be purchased on Cashless.


·         Got any extra change in your pockets?  Bring it to your period 5 class to help Free the Children build a well in India and don’t forget that the class who raises the most money will win a pizza party.


·         December 6th is an opportunity to consider the women and girls for whom violence is a daily reality and to remember those who have died as a result of gender-based violence.  Today we wear white to show our support for women of all races, religious  abilities and sexual orientation. Visit the table in the atrium to show your support for women’s issues by signing the white ribbons to be displayed in the school.
