·         This is a reminder to all students driving to school that you must have a parking permit.  Please go to the main office for a permit form.  Also students cannot park in the first 2 double rows as these are reserved for teachers.


·         AP courses at OT:  do you need help in understanding the benefits of taking an AP course next year?  Are you wondering if you are the right fit for an AP course?  Come to a general information meeting today in guidance at the beginning of period 3 to find out about our AP courses.


·         On Friday OT’s ski and snowboard teams had another great day on the slopes.  Our girls team of Hannah Izzard, Jackie Carlson and Olivia Neary-Hatton won the Halton Boarder Cross Championships and all qualified for OFSAA.  On the boys side the team of Magnus Hambleton, David VanHees, Keaton McCallum and Ty Haskan also won while the team of Cam Oliver, Tae Dietrich, Justin Reynolds and David Thomas won third at the Halton Boardercross Championship.  Tae, Magnus and Keaton also qualified for OFSAA.


·         Do you play a stringed instrument such as violin or cello?  The OTHS Strings Group is starting up. They rehearse on Fridays after school from 3:00 -4:30 in room 166.  If you want to join their first rehearsal it is this Friday. 


·         Can all students who have registered for the Canadian Computing Competition see Mr Wilford for final instructions. The competition is tomorrow from 12:15 – 3:15 in room 234.


·         This past Friday our Varsity boys hockey team traveled to Joshua Creek to take on Christ the King.  The team won their second in as many games 4-1.  Scoring for the Devils was Jordan Boulding, Cale Cutcliffe, Liam Coderre and Nial “ the Hammer” Currah.
