·         Any tennis team members who ordered a hoodie must pay $40.00 by Friday, either by cheque made out to OTHS or on cashless schools.


·         Football spring training has been rescheduled to Monday June 12th to 16th.


·         There is a meeting for all members of the Model United Nations Club after school Wednesday in room 102.


·         Looking for Volunteer Hours?  Maple Grove public school is having their Spring Fair Wednesday June 14th from 4:30 – 8:00pm.  If interested come to  the main office.


·         The Art Department is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first very own ART BATTLE on Thursday June 15th.  Tickets are on sale all this week periods 3 & 4 in the Devils Pit.  Only $5 for contestants and $3 for spectators.  Food and live music included.  All profits will go towards new art supplies for our arts department.  So come out and show your support.  All art enthusiasts are welcome from beginners to pros  and we invite all who are interested to participate.


·         Student athletes can sign up TODAY during periods 3 and 4 for the Athletic Banquet this Thursday June 8th.  The sign up area will be outside the student council office.  Sign up closes when we reach 175 student athletes.  The banquet is for all grades and at no cost.  The banquet is held in the OT café and starts at 5pm with a buffet dinner and awards to follow.  Grade 12’s are asked to check their Athletic Points Balance when they sign up.  If there are any questions or concerns regarding the banquet or sign - up come to the phys office to see Mrs Scott or Mrs Griffiths.


·         This past weekend several of our Track and Field athletes travelled to Belleville to compete in OFSAA.  Chris Elliott and Ellen McGee advanced to OFSAA for the 400 m and 100m  hurdles respectively staying true to form and putting  up a good showing in  their events.  As well Mathew Tint literally jumped over the competition and won silver for the midget boys high jump.  Mr Fotheringham and Mr Murphy want to congratulate the entire Track and Field team for a  spectacular season.
