·         Do you want to make a change in your school?  Or help make other students’ days a little more fun?  The Red Devils Council, OT’s student council is holding elections for next years’ RDC.  Stop by the office to pick up an application, due May 10th.

 

·         Yesterday our varsity girls soccer team traveled to Bronte Athletic field to take on Jean Vanier.  It was a tough game with both teams missing their chances and ending up tied at the end of regulation 1-1.  Scoring for the Devils was Anne-Sophie Sraka. 

 

·         Thursday after school Every Child Now will be taking a club picture, so all members please be there.  Remember to wear your ECN t-shirts on Thursday too. We will be meeting in room 225.

 

·         Mental Health matters!  Mental health is an important part of our well- being. When we are all mentally healthy we are able to laugh, enjoy time with friends  and family and overcome life’s challenges.  Participate in Mental Health week with SOS and check out our bulletin board.

 

·         We have officially raised a little over 800 for our Wellspring fundraiser and teachers have begun to carry out their activities.  Today Ms Finan is taking her data class to learn outdoors and on Friday Mr Fotheringham will be on his unicycle for the day.  A huge thanks to everyone who donated and stay tuned for more teacher activities.

 

·         The junior boys rugby practice today is cancelled.

 

·         The junior boys soccer team has their first home game of the season tomorrow after school at 3:30.  Support the team by coming out and watching the game.

 

·         Congratulations to the boys rugby teams on their wins yesterday.  The senior boys beat Nelson 63-14 and the junior boys beat Abbey Park 57-7.  Chris Elliot scored 5 tries!  Men of the match were Robbie MacNaughton and Andrew Easson.
