·         If you are looking for some Community Service hours, the Oakville Food Bank can use your help during their Christmas food drive.  There are several volunteer opportunities available in December.  Please see the volunteer bulletin board outside the theatre for details.

 

·         Reminder there is no DECA meeting tonight.  It will be tomorrow and all members who qualified for Provincials must attend.

 

·         Full Disclosure Date:  Courses must be dropped BEFORE Thursday November 24.  Drop processes take more than 24 hours to complete.  Senior students with 4 courses can consider a course drop but must come to Guidance no later than today to start the process.

 

·         A reminder to all students that signed up to write the Waterloo Intermediate and Senior Mathematics Contest;  it will be written tomorrow during periods 3 & 4 in room 216.  Bring your lunch.  To those that signed up late, please bring  your $10 to the contest.

 

·         Attention grade 11’s and 12’s:  more than half the tickets for formal have been sold.  If you are interested in buying a ticket you can get them on cashless.

 

·         It’s Tuesday which means Board Game Club is back, periods 3 & 4 in room 181.

 

·         Do you want to help others receive a good education?  Every Child Now’s newest campaign called “ Read, Write, Repeat”  let’s you do that.  We would love it if you could drop off any pens, pencils, novels or notebooks that you have in the box outside the cafeteria.  Everything we collect will be given to Aboriginal kids and kids  here  in the GTA.  Drop off items before school.

 

·         There will be an important Free the Children meeting today after school in room 190.

 

·         This is a reminder that representatives from Acadia University will be here  tomorrow at 11:45 in the atrium to give out information and answer questions.
