·         Baking Club meeting is cancelled for today, see you next Tuesday.


·         Yesterday our Junior Girls Basketball team travelled to compete in league play against the Wild from Robert Bateman.  Our Devils got off to a great start where they finished the first quarter with a score of 20-0 and they limited Bateman to scoring only 9 points against them all game.  OT took the win with 48 points and top scorers for OT were Sabrina Edwards, Tatum Martino, Lyra Ahmed and Kaitlyn Ruetz.


·         This is a reminder that there will be a  Chess Club meeting today in room 203 from 3:00 – 4:00,  new members welcome.


·         Attention DECA members:  We will be having a mandatory meeting to write the multiple choice exam this Wednesday after school.  There will be no morning meeting this week.


·         Were you a recipient of an award at Excellence evening and you did not attend?  Please come to the main office today to pick up your certificate.


·         Yesterday our Senior girls basketball team hosted Sainte-Trinite for the quarter finals.  The game was close all game until the third quarter when the Devils began to pull ahead.  The Devils kept up the pace and won 50-40.  Special recognition goes to Kelly Hubbs and Ivanna Naumovska for their offence, Emilie Demers for her vision on the court and Lauren Chew and Izzy Marchetti for their teamwork.


·         There is an Entrepreneurs Club meeting today after school in room 237.


·         Just a reminder to all girls interested in trying out for the Varsity Girls hockey team that the first tryout is after school at Maple Grove arena from 3:30 – 5:00.  All forms must be in before 3 PM to Mrs Griffiths in the Phys- ed office.


·         Attention all International Students and New Crew:  please see Mrs Piroski in guidance during period 4 or 5 to pick up ROM field trip forms.


·         Reminder to all those on the swim team:  there will be a mandatory meeting after school today in room 195.


·         If you are interested in playing in a String Ensemble there will be a brief meeting after school today in room 168.


·         Did you know that in 2017, 72 Canadian women were diagnosed with breast cancer every day?  Show your support and raise money for the cause by coming to the football game Thursday.
