·         Atlantic schools are here today in periods 3 & 4.  Come out and ask them about school life on the East Coast.


·         Are you interested in joining the ski and snowboard team this year?  Then I have the opportunity for you.  Come to a brief but important meeting after school on Wed Oct 5 in room 112.


·         Are you interested in finding out more about the Dukes of Edinburgh Award?  If so, come to an information session on Wednesday at the beginning of periods 3 or 4 or after school in room 232.


·         Yesterday the junior boys volleyball team faced off against the Titans of Holy Trinity.  The boys had a slow start but the relentless serving of Kyle Jickling, combined with flawless ball placement by Luc Barnett-Wright, and hammering by powerhouse hitter Matthew Tint led the boys to a decisive victory.


·         There will be a Free the Children meeting today after school in room 190.


·         The Ultimate Frisbee Club will be meeting this Thursday on the football field behind the school.  Do not go to Wedgewood Park as we will not be there.


·         Anyone interested in joining the Robotics team and wanting to go to the Rah Cha Cha Rukus off-season competition must have your parents sign up on 1334.ca


·         Attention music students:  if you play in a band or sing in a vocal group, you are invited to attend the Music Dept Retreat on Oct 22-23.  Activities include high ropes, wall climbing and team building.  Registration packages are hanging outside the music room and payment can be made on the cashless site.


·         It’s Tuesday which means Board Game Club is back.  Periods 3 & 4 in room 181.


·         Photo re-take day is Tuesday October 11th.  If you do not have a photo student card or you ordered a package of photos and need a retake, photographers will be in the library on Tuesday until noon only.


·         What is an SPC card?  It’s a card that gives you non-stop discount at tons of stores all year round.  .  Do you shop at West 49, Pink, Mr Sub, Guess, Forever 21 then this card is for you.  Buy the cards periods 3 & 4 in the atrium.


·         Without the help of committee members Relay for Life at OT would not be possible.  Help us become the top fundraising high school in Canada once again for Youth Relay for Life, while getting involved in the school.  The volunteer callout meeting for 9’s and 10’s will be in the theatre and the library for the 11’s and 12’s.  You can meet the committee chairs , hear what each committee does and how you can apply.  If you can’t attend please download the form off of the Facebook page or see Ms Hanley or Ms Piroski.
