·         The new OT Newspaper Club is having their first meeting today after school in room 194.  All are welcome.

 

·         This is a reminder that Representatives from Lakehead University will be here from 12:15 – 1:15 today in the atrium to give out information and answer questions.

 

·         It’s Tuesday which means Board Game Club is back.  Periods 3 & 4 in room 181.  Come play some crazy games with some crazy people.

 

·         The first Free the Children meeting will be today after school in room 190.

 

·         Looking for Community Service Hours?  Attend our Volunteer Road Show;  come out to the main atrium tomorrow during periods 3 & 4.  Volunteer Halton, Canadian Cancer Society, HRPS, Oakville Arts Council, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, SAVIS, ROCK, Bronte Creek Provincial Park, Seneca, CYAN, Habitat for Humanity and Duke of Ed Award Sponsors will all be set up to give you information.

 

·         Are you an animal lover?  There is a perfect club for you here at OT.  There will be a quick meeting for animal rights club in room 198 tomorrow the 21st after school.

 

·         The junior girls field hockey team played very well in their tournament on Friday placing second overall with their home opening goal scored by Erica McCracken.  They also played two league games on Monday tying the first game 0-0 and winning the second game 4-0 with goals scored by Katherine Muschett, Meredith Steven and Olivia Gardiner.

 

·         If anyone in grade 9 – 12 has a passion for sports and loves to plan school events then you should consider being a part of the 2016-2017 Red Devils Athletic Council.  Come to an information session in the health room ( 153) tomorrow after school.

 

·         Attention all grade 9’s interested in joining student council:  applications are outside the RDC office.  Applications are due this Friday the 23rd in the main office.

 

·         Fallfest is this Thursday!  11:30 on the back field there will be inflatables, food, live music and more.  Remember to bring in your signed contracts before Thursday or you won’t be able to go on the inflatables.
