·         All students who paid to write the PSAT test please come to guidance to pick up your materials.


·         Attention Jr field hockey:  the game today has been CANCELLED.  Plan to practice or play tomorrow.


·         Last Friday the Jr girls basketball team opened their season at home against Gaetan Gervais.  Our Devils got off to a great start with a big win, and limiting their opponent to only 2 points against us.  Offensive contributions came from eight of our Jr Devils including 3 rookies; Lyra Ahmad, Sabrina Edwards, Alex Garvey, with top scorers being Mackenzie Probert, Jayani Kantaria and Lucy Edgar.  Commendable defensive efforts were from Lauryn Chew, Zoe Preston and Molly Giffen. 


·         There will be an OT Robotics meeting this Thursday in the café.  All new members are welcome.


·         This is a reminder that there is a mandatory DECA meeting tomorrow after school.  Returning members only need to stay for the first 15 minutes, new members must stay for the full hour meeting.  See you in room 237.


·         Interested in trying out for the OT Improv team?  Please see important information outside the theater.  Try-outs are this Thursday from 3-5.  Any questions see Ms Muzzatti.


·         There will be a mandatory meeting for all students interested in joining HOSA this year after school in room 216.


·         The first Free the Children meeting is today after school in room 190.  Any new members are welcome and anyone attending WE DAY must come to the meeting.


·         Last Thursday the Jr boys volleyball team opened their season against the huskies of Frank Hayden.  Led by Kyle Jickling the boys hammered home a dominant win.  Come out after school today to see the boys take on Garth Webb.


·         Congratulations to the Sr girls basketball team for another hard earned victory.  High energy and strong defense is what led them to a final score of 49-12.  Great team win.


·         This is an important message for all grade 9’s applying for student council/ RDC.  Your forms must be handed in completed to the office by 3 pm today.  Also don’t forget the meeting regarding the elections in the Library at 3pm today.
