·         Model UN delegates:  please come to a short meeting in room 118 at 2:55 on Wed. Feb 10th.


·         There will be a mandatory meeting for any boys interested in playing on the boys baseball team.  This is a varsity team so all grades are welcome.  The meeting is on Wednesday February 10 at 3:00 in room 216.  If you have any questions see Ms Preiner in the Math / Science office.


·         Any student taking an e-learning course in semester 2 is invited to attend a meeting in the Library seminar room during lunch today to learn more about how the course will be offered and to have any questions answered.


·         A reminder to all junior boys rugby players that try outs start tomorrow morning at 7:00 am in gym AB.  No forms, no play.


·         A new semester is a great time to join a new club!  If you are interested in celebrating and honouring the diversity of our staff and student body, stay tuned for further details about a new Multi-Cultural Club at OT- first meeting will be next Tuesday Feb 16th in room 116.


·         Don’t forget that Candy Grams are being sold all this week in the atrium.  Buy one for your love, your friends or yourself.


·         Today will be the final day for semester 2 timetable changes.  Counsellors will be available during your spare and lunch periods as well as after school to serve all remaining students.  After today, counsellors will deal with students on wait lists for courses.  Wait lists will be dealt with by the end of the week.  Teachers please refrain from distributing textbooks until we let you know that classes are settled.


·         There is a grade 12 grad assembly during period 2 today.  This assembly will deal with some important post-secondary information and housekeeping items.  Period 2 grade 12 classes will be called down to the cafeteria after attendance is taken.


·         Tomorrow is Red, Pink and White Valentine’s spirit day.  Make sure you participate to get 50% of RDC crush grams at tomorrow’s Valentine Devil Day.  Plus stop by our table in the atrium today and tomorrow at lunch to guess how many candies are in the jars to win it all!!  Its free to guess.


·         Looking for a summer job?  Want to get paid while you are looking?  Applications are being accepted for the Summer Youth Job Connection program being run by Employment Halton now.  This is 20 hours where you are paid to get help to look for work.  The number of students being accepted for the program is limited.  Come to the Library seminar room during your lunch period Wed Feb 10th to learn more.
