·         There will be a Book Club meeting today after school in the library.


·         Congrats to the Jr boys rugby team on their win yesterday 25-22 vs Abbey Park.  Also congrats to the Sr boys rugby team on their 80 – 0 win over Abbey Park.


·         Are you feeling stressed?  Wish you had a cute dog to cuddle at school?  Well, you are in luck – the therapy dog program is back.  Come say hi to Bailey the dog in the guidance office today from 11:45 to 12:45.


·         Did you know skin cancer is diagnosed more than all other cancers combined?  It can be prevented by covering up with clothing and  staying in the shade.  Also remember to put sunscreen on before you go out.


·         Attention all grade 9’s and 10’s :  semi- formal is today at Le Dome at 7:00 pm.  If your contracts is not handed in by today before period 3 you cannot come tonight.


·         AP Exam writers:  today is a mandatory meeting at the beginning of period 3 or period 4 in room 191.  Bring student ID and a number 2 pencil.


·         Our first Frisbee practice will be held today after school.  Please meet the team at Deer Run park at 3:30 PM.  Any questions see Mr Fotheringham.


·         Do you enjoy great theater productions?  Do you love excitement, thrill and drama?  Well good, but this theater has none of that in their plays.  But there’s one spotlight worker who’s ready to make what’s bad better.  Come see The Crewman at the One Act Drama festival April 30th and May 1st at 7 pm in the theater.


·         Half of the Great Barrier Reef has been bleached to death since 2016.  Unnatural hot waters kill off the colourful algae leaving the coral to starve.  Water bottle Wednesday is to raise awareness about ocean pollution.  You can help by recycling properly and wearing safe sunscreen.


·         Got empty bottles left over from Easter weekend?  Donate them to the OTHS Relay for Life bottle drive on Saturday.   April 27th from 9 – 1.  We will be accepting wine bottles, wine bags, beer bottles, beer cans and other liquor bottles at the main entrance of the school.  All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.


·         Registration for Relay for Life ends this week!  Be sure to pay your registration fee and have your team’s forms handed to the Relay office by Friday.


·         There will be a Relay entertainment meeting at 7:45 tomorrow morning in room 120.


·         There will be a Luminaries meeting at 7:45 tomorrow morning in room 190.


·         There will be a Survivors meeting at 7:45  tomorrow morning in the Library.


·         There will be a Team Captains joint meeting with awareness and promotions  at 7:45 tomorrow morning in the Bio room.
