·         Attention all snowboard team members who are attending the Boarder Cross race on Thursday:  The bus will be leaving the school at 6:15 am.  The race is for snowboarders only !  Skiers will attend their ski cross day next week.

 

·         The semi-annual Club Fair is today in the atrium during periods 3 & 4.  Clubs will be selling baked goods so make sure you come and check it out.

 

·         The gender and sexuality alliance – GSA – will be meeting at the beginning of both periods 3 & 4 today in the interview room beside the modern languages office.  The after school meeting  today is CANCELLED.  All are welcome.

 

·         Yesterday the Varsity boys hockey team traveled to Joshua Creek arena to host the Spartans of Craig Kielberger.  The game started out slow but the Devils did have a 2-0 lead going into the second period on goals by Jake Howden and Andrew Cornell.  The Devils ran into some penalty trouble at the end of the second period and gave up two short- handed goals that made the game 2-2 at the end of two periods.  The Devils came out better in the third and popped an early goal by Payton  Cormier.  They then road that to a 3-2 victory.

 

·         A reminder that the American Mathematics Contest will be written tomorrow in room 216 during period 3.

 

·         Due to Friday’s PD day the Investment Club will have its first meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in room 232.  Be sure to come out and join the Facebook group.

 

·         Come out today right after school to support your Jr girls volleyball team as they face off against Abbey Park in the Tier 1 Halton semi- finals.  Game time is 3:30.

 

·         The Calligraphy Club is meeting today after school in room 191 due to the PD day on Friday.  We will write couplets.

 

·         All skiers that are OFSSAA bound are asked to meet in the guidance office  after school today.  See Mr Pope on Thursday if you are unable to make the meeting.
