·         Yesterday the junior girls  volleyball team faced off against the Huskies of Hayden in the Tier 1 Halton championship.  The girls opened strong taking the first set in a tough fought battle.  In the second set they lost momentum, ultimately losing the set to Hayden brining it all down to the deciding third set.  The girls clawed back a five point deficit to tie the game at 14 all then fought hard for every point only to finally lose at a heart breaking final score of 22-20.  The girls played the whole season with courage and heart and should be congratulated on finishing as Halton silver medalist.  Player of the game goes to Zoe Preston  for her consistent powerhouse play through three long sets of high intensity volleyball.

·         Yesterday the Varsity girls hockey team hosted the Abbey Park Eagles.  A see-saw battle brought out the best  of defence in both teams with the OT girls offensive efforts paying off late in the third.  Great job to all the defence and shout out to Prachi Kapur on another outstanding effort  earning a shutout.  Lone goal scored by Ainsley Morrison.  Great job to Hailey Jeffries on her Player of the game!
