·         If you are helping make decorations for the Relay Rally today please meet the Awareness/ Promotion chairs at the start of your lunch in room 126.


·         It’s almost time for the annual GSA dance once again.  It’s going to be held at Georgetown High School on April 13th.  This year’s theme is Hogwarts and we will be selling tickets soon so look out for our booth in the atrium.


·         Thank you very much to everyone who attended Every Child Now’s Skate it Up event over the weekend.  Together we were able to skate our way to raising more than $45,000.  Special congratulations to Abby Henry for being the top fundraiser and raising $3,220.  You may pick up your prize, snapchat spectacles,  tomorrow in room 211.  So many will now receive an education thanks to your hard work.


·         From the co-op department:  all students taking co-op next semester must submit an application form.  Applications are available in guidance or room 136.  Interviews will be starting soon and students with applications will get first choice for placements.


·         There will be an Every Child Now meeting tomorrow in room 211.


·         From the co-op department:  all students interested in a placement at Sick Kids hospital must see Mrs Stearns Brown in room 136 Friday period 3 or 4.


·         If you are interested in taking part in the University of Waterloo Chemistry Contest, you must speak to Ms Bhatnagar by Friday.  The grade 12 Chemistry Contest is scheduled for Thursday May 11th and the grade 11 Chemistry contest is scheduled for Thursday May 18th.


·         Badminton tryouts are taking place- Doubles are on Friday in gym AB at 7AM.


·         SHSM students:  if you are a SHSM student in Health and Wellness or in Business you can do your Co-op credits during the month of July.  All SHSM students interested in summer co-op must attend a meeting this Friday at 11:30 in room 198.  You will receive summer co-op information and sign up instructions.  Only SHSM students qualify for summer co-op.


·         With all this weary weather we’ve been having don’t you miss spending a day at the beach?  Our grade 11 Leadership class is bringing the beach to you, right here in the atrium on Friday, March 31st during periods 3 & 4.  Today, tomorrow and Friday during periods 3 & 4 you can purchase tickets in the atrium for your chance to win some amazing prizes.  All ticket sales support Halton Food for Thought.
