If you have signed up for the Terry Fox obstacle and relay races, come to the OT field today period 3 or 4 during your lunch.

 

There will be a curling meeting Thursday right after school to sign up for clinics.  Health forms must be submitted.

 

Students are reminded that today is the deadline to sign up for the Duke of Ed.  Come to Guidance today for more information.

 

Looking to earn volunteer hours?  Looking to make a difference in  your community?  Come down to the atrium during periods 3 and 4 to learn more information about the Free the Children campaign;  We Scare Hunger.

 

Yesterday the boys volleyball team saw the return of Bennett Swan off the injured list.  Faced with htat kind of strength and power, Blakelock had no choice but to hand us the win, catapulting us into second place in our division.

 

The Jr field hockey team played against Garth Webb yesterday and won 3 -0.  Tess Alksnis and Celeste Nantel scored the goals with assists from Niamh Reidy and Julia Rego.

 

Come down to the cafeteria periods 3 & 4 today to play the balloon popping game for $1.00.  All the money will go towards the Terry Fox Foundation.

 

Tomorrow, Oct 22 during periods 3 & 4 come out to the basketball hoops and beat your friends in a game of bump!  The cost of playing is $1.00 per person, per play with games up to 10 people.  All proceeds go to Cancer research.  Pick up a waiver in the atrium or at the top of the main staircase, have a parent sign it and bring it to the bump game.

 

The day we have been waiting 30 years for is here.  Today is October 21, 2015 the day Marty McFly travels to in Back to the Future.  To celebrate come down to the atrium at lunch to take pictures with our own clock tower.

 

Please return DECA permission forms to Mrs Bottema in room 238.  Our online DECA test is Wednesday October 28th.  Be sure to try the practice test.

 

Yesterday the Sr field hockey team hosted the Eagles of Abbey Park at Bronte athletic field.  The Devils fought hard securing a 2-0 victory advancing to semi-finals.  Goals were scored by Sydney Wade and Jordan Somers.
