·         Yearbooks are here!  Pick yours up in the Devil’s Pit period 3 & 4.

 

·         Fare Share Food Bank is looking for student volunteers to help during their Thanksgiving food drive.  For details please see the flyer posted on the volunteer bulletin board outside the theater.

 

·         Reminder to all grade nine and ten drummers, pianists, guitar, bass, trumpet, trombone and saxophone players that the first Junior Jazz open rehearsal is this Thursday at 7 AM.  Don’t overthink it, just come and play.

 

·         HOSA members planning to go to the competition need to complete their event selection form sent to  your emails by the end of Thursday this week.

 

·         Students who missed the first Cross Country meeting, may attend a meeting today in the construction lab ( room 164) during period 3 or 4 today.  This is a must attend meeting if you want to be on the team.  New members are welcome.

 

·         Choir practice begins this Thursday after school in room 168.  Everyone is welcome to come try it out.  No experience necessary.

 

·         The first Book Club meeting is today after school in the library.  It’s the perfect place to get to know people with the same passion for books as  you do.

 

·         All DECA applications are due today by 3 pm.  Successful applicants will be posted on a list next week before Wednesday’s meeting.

 

·         Interested in dancing?  Then join Dance Club.  Come to room 220 today after scho0ol for our short information meeting.

 

·         Yesterday our Jr girls basketball team opened their season against Garth Webb.  Our girls got off to a slow start, however they worked together as a team and earned themselves a 36-16 victory.   Defensive mentions go to Rachel Hamburg and Hannah Birtch.  Top scorers were Sarah Malone, Kaitlyn Ritz and Sophie Gilbert.

 

·         For all Model Un members, there will be a meeting today after school in room 102.

 

·         Anyone interested in being part of Well-being Council, our first meeting is tomorrow  after school in the library .

 

·         Have you checked out the math bulletin board recently?  It’s new and improved.  It’s the place to find math contest information, math club dates and “Pascal’s Perilous Problem” a monthly challenge problem.  Enter a correct answer for a chance to win a prize.
