·         Attention grade 11 & 12’s:  are you looking for a super fun leadership experience?  Are you interested in business or Queens University?  Apply for QLEAD;  there will be an information meeting tomorrow after school in room 232.


·         Members of the golf team:  see Mr Pearson some time during the day for Thursday’s tournament information.


·         Do you like watching film?  Do you like talking about film?  If so then Film Club might be the club for you.  Starting today after school in room 192.  See Ms Rajcak or Mr Johnson for more details.


·         PSAT students please pick up your PSAT books in guidance today. 


·         There will be a brief GSA meeting after school today in the French office.


·         Interested in trying out for the OT Improv team?  Please see important information outside the theatre.  Try outs are tomorrow from 3-5.  Any question see Ms Muzzatti.


·         This is a reminder that there will be a Chess Club meeting today after school in room 216.


·         Reminder that there is a mandatory Model UN meeting in room 102 after school today.


·         Congratulations to all members of the OT Cross Country team for running in the brutal heat yesterday at the Bagpipe Classic held at Erindale Park in Mississauga.  A special shout out to Willow Bennett who placed 8th out of 139 athletes in the Jr girls race.  Also special shout out to the Jr girls Cross Country team who placed 3rd overall in their run yesterday.  The junior girls team include Willow Bennett, Paige Murray, Bel Zhao, Melissa Meyer and Jackie Murray. 


·         The yearbook photo for the Cross Country team will be taken tonight at today’s practice.  All members are asked to attend.


·         This is a reminder that there is a mandatory DECA meeting today after school.  Returning members only need to stay for the first 15 minutes.  New members must stay for the full 1 hour meeting.  See you in room 237.


·         Don’t forget to wear red and black on Friday for our Football home opener game.  It will also be a Devil’s Day where clubs can sell baked goods and snacks in the atrium


·         If you are in grade 9, 10 or 11 and are thinking about a career as a Doctor, then this announcement is for you.  Medical school in Canada is years away however you can enter medical school in the UK, Australia and the Caribbean right out of high school.  Join us for a presentation from one of the most prestigious medical school programs in the UK – St George’s University of London.  They will be here to present to interested students and parents tomorrow, Thursday Sept 27th at 11:00 in room 237.  Medical school abroad could only be a year or two away if you are prepared.  Contact guidance for more information.


·         The winner of the draw form yesterday’s Volunteer Road Show is Amira Abdalla.  Congrats Amira, come down to the guidance office today to collect your prize.
