New Student Registration
All registrations are currently being done online as visitors are currently not permitted in the school during Covid Restrictions.
Families must live in our catchment area. To check school boundaries and locations, please visit the Halton District School Board website at www.hdsb.ca and look here. If you are new to our area or to The Halton District School Board and would like to register your child for school, please visit the HDSB Website at
Step 1 - Identify your child's home school. Refer to information at “Find My Local School”
Step 2 - Complete online HDSB Registration form and email them to Eleanor Barns (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Once the Student Registration Form is received by the school via email (email@example.com), they will acknowledge receipt and share the process for providing the mandatory documents to enter your child(ren) in the system.
Step 3- Submit required documentation
These documents include:
Proof of child’s age: birth certificate or passport or baptismal/faith record for your child
Proof of address (any two of the following documents): lease or deed, car registration, utility bill, residential telephone bill, moving bill, property tax bill, bank statement, credit card statement, correspondence with a government agency Note: A driver’s license will not be accepted as documentation for “proof of address”.
Proof of child’s citizenship: birth certificate or passport, Record of Landing (IMM 1000)or Permanent Resident Card
Proof of custody: if you are not the parent and your child is under 18 you must provide proof of custody (court order)
Copy of Student's School Transcript or Credit Counselling Summary (Grades 9 to 12)
Copy of Student's Report Card (Grade 8)
Copies of current school records including IEP or ESL (if applicable) and reports that may assist the school in program placement of your child(ren).

Step 4 - Course Selection:
After the registration process is complete the student will receive course selection information from a Guidance Counsellor. At
this time a Google MEET can be arranged with the student, family and Counsellor to answer any questions and to assist with course selection.
