OTHS STUDENT SENATE

The HDSB Student Senate is a group of passionate leaders from public schools across the Halton District School Board. Senators meet once a month to provide the student perspective on board issues and to voice the questions and concerns of Halton students. Each school has 2-3 senators to represent their students.

We, Grace Shen and Cherie Liu, are your two OTHS Student Senate representatives for the 2023-2024 school year!

Our responsibility is to represent OT student voice, concerns, and perspectives at the board level. If you have any questions or concerns about our role, things you would like us to discuss at senate meetings, or what we’re currently doing in senate, please feel free to reach out to us via 1liuche2@hdsb.ca and/or 1shengra2@hdsb.ca. 

As the year progresses, we will continue to report back and keep in touch with the school community through morning announcements, BrightSpace, this newsletter, and Instagram (@oths.studentsenate).
